Education in an experiential environment, where the child discovers concepts and practices under the guidance of certified professionals, is the difference Providence Montessori offers. The environment is prepared with Montessori materials in spacious light-filled classrooms, and incorporates expansive outdoors study in its curriculum. Student/teacher ratios are small, and every classroom has a minimum of two Montessori certified instructors. The educational experience is enhanced with regularly scheduled arts, language, and physical activities, as well as overnight experiences at the elementary level.
The scope of the Providence Montessori educational experience cannot be covered by tuition alone. Long-term needs as indicated on the Strategic plan, as well as capital improvements are also not covered by tuition. Gifts from alumni, parents, grandparents and special friends of Providence Montessori School help make the difference between tuition and the actual cost of a Providence Montessori Education.
Providence Montessori School is a registered 501(c) organization, and gifts are tax deductible.
