Providence Montessori

Before & After School

Program Information

At Providence, we realize that parents’ schedules often don’t coincide with regular school hours. To ease this burden, we provide both before and after school care.

Before School Care is available beginning at 7:45am. Children gather with staff members in the library. They visit and read until 8:15am when they go to their classrooms. This service is included in the tuition for Toddler and Primary students, but is an additional fee for Elementary students.

In our After School Care program, Primary-age children are provided with a variety of developmentally appropriate activities, while our Elementary-age students enjoy a range of both indoor and outdoor activities. This service is included in the tuition for our all-day Primary students, but is an additional fee for Elementary students.

In addition, Providence offers clubs and specialty classes after school. Over the years these have included art, music, hand drumming, juggling, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, science, Spanish, cooking and chess clubs. Class sessions typically are offered in both the fall and spring semesters and change according to interest and enrollment. Information on availability and fees for these activities is sent out to parents during the school year.

Providence is a phenomenal school! We are parents of a sixth grader and a five year-old in the Primary program. Our older child has attended there for seven years now. The director, staff and teachers are committed to achieve excellence like no other school we have ever seen. Teachers willingly do everything within their power to see that each child excels at his or her own pace. They work well with the brightest of children and those who have more difficulty and succeed with both types of students. Mutual respect and care for each other, the environment and the world around us are the cornerstones of this institution. What more could you ask for your child?
