Providence Montessori’s Endowment & Scholarship Funds
Providence Montessori has a scholarship fund which is available for current families who qualify AND also a separate endowment fund.
Our Adriaan Kessler Scholarship Fund started with a gift of $100,000 in 2008. This fund has grown steadily over the years and Providence has been able to provide scholarships for numerous families who are currently enrolled and in need of assistance. We would love to be able to offer financial assistance to incoming families as well, and therefore we are increasing our pursuit of donors for this very important aspect of admissions.
Our Providence Montessori Endowment Fund has grown with time, and each year our donations from the Good Giving Challenge increase the value of this fund.
Any donation made to Providence, at any time, may be designated for the Providence Montessori General Fund, the Providence Montessori Endowment Fund or the Adriaan Kessler Scholarship Fund. Checks can be made payable to Providence Montessori School. Credit card donations can be processed online and you can designate your preferred Fund after choosing your amount. All donations are greatly appreciated!
Providence Montessori’s Legacy Tree
Our outdoor metal tree sculpture, designed by local artist Doug Wilson, is located next to the front entrance of our Texaco campus. Help us make it grow with dedication leaves! Available in Gold, Silver, and Bronze, each leaf can be engraved with up to three lines of text. Display your family name, honor a Providence graduate, or use wording of your choice on your leaf to be displayed on this unique and commemorative artwork. A member of our staff will contact you for the details of your engraving. Tree leaf purchases can be designated toward one of the above listed funds, if desired.

GoodGiving Challenge – Annual event occurring the week following Thanksgiving
The GoodGiving Challenge – a partnership of Blue Grass Community Foundation and Smiley Pete Publishing – is a weeklong online charitable giving campaign celebrating the diversity of nonprofits in the region and allowing people to learn and contribute to their work. Donors can select one, two or multiple organizations and make a donation using a credit card, a Blue Grass Community Foundation Giving Card, a Blue Grass Community Foundation Donor Advised Giving Fund, or ACH Checking at the secure website www.BGgives.org . Donations to nonprofits will have an even greater impact during the Challenge, thanks to hundreds of thousands of dollars in challenges, match pools and grant money provided by sponsors.

Thanks to donations made during the 2022 GoodGiving Challenge, Providence Montessori raised a total of $ 66,345. Funds were earmarked for specific classroom wish lists, our scholarship fund, and our endowment. Thank you to all who donated!
