The following video, Montessori Madness – 321 FastDraw, provides a wonderful description of the benefits of a Montessori education. The video is by Trevor Eissler who is a father of three Montessori students, a business jet pilot and a flight instructor. He is the author of four books, Montessori Madness!, 4,962,571, That 17th Hat, and N is for North Korea. He is a juggler, unicyclist, triathlete, and Toastmaster. He lives with his wife and family in Georgetown, Texas.

Parent Education Sessions
Each year, Providence offers multiple opportunities for parents to learn more about the Montessori philosophy and how lessons are given at each educational level (Toddler - Middle School). Often, a session will highlight a particular area of the curriculum giving parents a greater understanding of how lessons are given and the steps a student takes on their way to mastery of a concept.
Maria Montessori designed the materials we still use today in a way that is absolutely ingenious! Our teachers possess a love for the Montessori method and are always eager to take the time to explain it to parents in greater detail. Attending a session provides parents with valuable insight as to what a typical day might be like for their child.
We encourage both current and prospective parents to attend these informative sessions. You may sign up for as many as you like, and you may select any topic or level that interests you. Reservations are required.
We are pleased to announce the dates / topics for our 2023 - 2024 Parent Education series of events. With the exception of the Middle School Curriculum Night on November 9th, all sessions will be held at the Texaco Road campus at 5:30 PM.
