Physical Education
P.E. Class
Our students love making use of both our indoor and outdoor campus facilities. The playground, athletic field, and Founders’ Arts and Activities Building (FAAB) provide a variety of opportunities for Kindergarten through 6th-grade students to engage in a well-rounded, developmentally appropriate program.
We believe that physical fitness and healthy habits enhance learning. Our program emphasizes the connection between movement and overall well-being—supporting students’ physical, mental, emotional, and social development.
The curriculum builds a foundation of basic movement and manipulative skills so students feel confident and successful in all activities. In keeping with the Montessori philosophy, P.E. meets each child where they are, accommodating individual abilities and needs. Activities are designed to promote fitness, develop motor skills, teach rules and strategies, and foster teamwork and individual effort across a wide range of sports and games.
My elder son was really happy when he was with Providence. The student/teacher ratio is small, so every kid gets enough attention. And whenever we raised any concerns, they were answered promptly and professionally.
We plan to send my younger kid there too, when he reaches two years old.
