Providence Montessori

How To Apply

Are you interested in applying to our school? We look forward to meeting you and getting to know your child! These steps will walk you through the process.

1.

Contact our Admissions Director

It’s never too early to begin the application process.  Our Director of Admissions can be reached via phone or email. Your first conversation will be a chance to let us know how old your child is and what program you are interested in applying for. We will invite you to schedule a visit to the school so that you may tour the campus and see in person what we have to offer.

2.

Schedule a tour

Initial visits are scheduled for weekday mornings. This gives prospective families a chance to see the uninterrupted morning work cycle - a hallmark of Montessori education. Your visit will start with a tour of the school, followed by a chance to sit and observe a class at work. Before you leave, you will have an opportunity to meet with our administrative staff to ask any questions you may have. Please note that these initial visits are for adults only.

Admission Process

Providence welcomes and considers all applicants without regard to race, religion, or ethnic or national background. The school abides by the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990.

Admissions begin in the fall for the following school year. Applications for siblings of currently enrolled students must be submitted in writing to the office by December 15th in order to maintain their preferential status.  Those who apply after that deadline may be placed on a waiting list depending on availability.

Contracts are sent to parents early January (upon the return from Winter Break) and must be signed and returned, along with a deposit, by the designated deadline (usually the latter part of January).

Our three children have thrived at Providence. The atmosphere there is one that is very difficult to put into words. The mutual respect between the children and the teachers is prevelent. Just this one important factor , I feel, sets the stage for an incredible amount of learning.

- Providence Parent

We can not say enough about the quality of education and developmental nurturing that our daughter has received at Providence. They stress each child’s ability to be strong and independent, as well as emphasize that each child progresses differently. We are so happy that we chose to send our daughter to Providence and would highly recommend them to any parents looking to place their child.
