Before & After School
Program Information
At Providence, we understand that families’ schedules don’t always align with regular school hours. To support our parents and provide enriching experiences for students, we offer both Before-School Care and After-School Care.
Before-School Care begins at 7:45 a.m. in the library, where children spend time with staff, reading and visiting with friends until 8:15 a.m., when they transition to their classrooms. This service is included in tuition for Toddler and Primary students and available for Elementary students for an additional fee.
After-School Care gives Primary students additional outdoor time along with a variety of developmentally appropriate activities. Elementary students enjoy both indoor and outdoor opportunities to unwind, play, and explore. This program is included in tuition for all-day Primary students and offered to Elementary students for an additional fee.
In addition, Providence offers a variety of
clubs and specialty classes after school. Past offerings have included art, music, hand drumming, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, science, Spanish, cooking, and chess. These enrichment opportunities are typically offered in fall and spring semesters, with options varying by interest and enrollment. Information on availability and fees is shared with parents throughout the school year.
Providence is a phenomenal school! We are parents of a sixth grader and a five year-old in the Primary program. Our older child has attended there for seven years now. The director, staff and teachers are committed to achieve excellence like no other school we have ever seen. Teachers willingly do everything within their power to see that each child excels at his or her own pace. They work well with the brightest of children and those who have more difficulty and succeed with both types of students. Mutual respect and care for each other, the environment and the world around us are the cornerstones of this institution. What more could you ask for your child?
