Amy Richardson

Reading Specialist

In 1996, Amy began working at Providence as a lower elementary teacher.  In recent years, she became trained in Orton-Gillingham, a multisensory technique that uses sequential, direct, explicit instruction to improve phonetic awareness and word attack skills. Working with students in her classroom, and tutoring individual children after school, led Amy to discover her true passion - providing students with the tools they need to decode language.
