Evan Martin
Toddler I
Evan Martin received his Bachelor of fine arts degree from Eastern Kentucky University. During that time, he was introduced to Montessori philosophy through the Summer Camp with the Arts at Providence Montessori School. The Montessori bug led Evan to pursue co-teaching at the toddler level. After getting his feet wet, he soon obtained his infant and toddler teaching credential through the American Montessori Society. Evan Martin has proudly taught in the Toddler Program since 2017, and has assisted with Summer Camp with the Arts since 2013. Evan is frequently found fixing various items throughout the classroom with the help of the toddler cohort, a practice of mindfulness that he hopes will benefit the children for years to
come. His hobbies include woodworking, pottery, sculpture, hiking, camping, canoeing, and
sledding. He is passionate about sustainability, reuse/repair, and DIY projects.
