Keyla Bueno

Keyla is a native Spanish speaker, born and raised in Puerto Rico. She now holds Montessori teaching credentials from infants through Lower & Upper Elementary (ages 6-12) Beginnning in 2012, Keyla taught Spanish and cultural studies for kindergarteners through upper elementary, and also taught Spanish at our middle school campus for one academic year. During the 2020-2021 school year, Keyla began teaching in elementary and decided to pursue her AMS / MACTE elementary training. Since then, she's been teaching in Lower Elementary and enjoys working with that age group. Prior to her time at Providence, she was a toddler teacher at a Montessori school in Albuquerque, NM for eight years. Keyla holds a B.A. in business administration with a minor in marketing and worked as a District Operations Manager for a Fortune 100 company. Her love for children and Montessori education prompted her to change careers. She loves what Montessori education has to offer to each individual child.
