Maria Franzini

Classroom V

Maria Franzini holds a B.A. in German and applied linguistics and a master’s degree of Music in Piano Pedagogy and Performance. Maria taught music at the Montessori School of Northern Virginia prior to working at Providence, where she first began as the music teacher.  Maria then earned her Montessori elementary certification from the Age of Montessori training program and has been teaching in Classroom V since the 2020/2021 academic year.  Maria is a lifelong learner who loves creating stories and songs that teach children about history, zoology, and botany. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, making music, practicing yoga, supporting her two teenage sons in their artistic pursuits and spending time with her husband and mini Aussie-doodle, Coda.
