Shelley Denton
Associate Head of School
Providence Montessori has always been a special place for Shelley. As a former Providence student herself, she had the unique joy of returning years later to teach in the very same Primary classroom where she once learned as a child.
Shelley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Midway College and earned her Early Childhood Credential from Oaks Montessori Teacher Education. Before joining Providence professionally, she worked alongside her family in their small business serving graduating seniors across the state of Kentucky. She later became the owner of the company, gaining valuable experience in organization, leadership, and community connection that she now brings to her role at Providence.
As Associate Head of School, Shelley combines her lifelong love for Montessori education with her deep ties to Providence’s community. She is passionate about supporting children, families, and teachers, and is proud to help carry forward the mission of the school that has shaped so much of her own life.
